Section 43 Awards for Chapter – to be turned in the Friday of the Sectional Conference by 12pm. Applications may be turned in a the conference registration, to the section chair directly or by e-mail at aposection43@gmail.com.

Section, Region, and National Conference Awards

  • Man-Mile – chapter that drove the most number of miles to the convention.
  • Roll Call – best roll call at the convention.

Region Awards for Chapter – due the Friday of the Regional Conference.

National Awards for Chapter (Awarded at Nationals) – Due October 1

National Awards

Chapter Individual Award

  • Chapter DSK – A chapter’s highest distinction it can bestow is the Chapter Distinguished Service Award. This chapter key is given in recognition to members for outstanding service to the fraternity. This key bears the greek letters of the fraternity in gold on a background of black enamel. The ribbon the DSK is mounted on is blue.

Section Staff Individual Award

  • Section DSK – A section’s DSK is the highest distinction a section can bestow is the Section Distinguished Service Award. This section key is given in recognition to members for outstanding service to the fraternity. This key bears the greek letters of the fraternity in gold on a background of black enamel. The ribbon the DSK is mounted on is green.

Region Staff Individual Awards

  • Region DSK – A region’s DSK is the highest distinction a region can bestow is the Region Distinguished Service Award. This section key is given in recognition to members for outstanding service to the fraternity. This key bears the greek letters of the fraternity in gold on a background of black enamel. The ribbon the DSK is mounted on is red.

National Staff Individual Awards

  • National Alumni DSKThe National Alumni Distinguished Service Award recognizes those alumni who have continued to further the principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service beyond their college years in exceptional ways.  This key is given in recognition to alumni for outstanding service to the community, not just to the fraternity. Presentations are made at appropriate venues on the recommendation of the National Alumni/Volunteer Development Committee. This key bears the greek letters of the fraternity in gold on a background of gold enamel.
  • Herbert G Horton Award – Awarded for dedication to youth and promoting the relationship between Alpha Phi Omega and Scouting.
